Fees
| A single 2-week session: | € 2000 |
| Both Summer Sessions (4 total weeks): | € 3600 |
Special rates will be applied to students from affiliated universities. AIA Members and students from partner institutions will get a 10% reduction.
The fees do not include anything that is not specified here.
Fees Include
- Local transports
- Housing
- Meals (with some exceptions and limitations)
- Excavation tools and expenses
- Laboratory equipment and expenses
- Staff costs.
Travel to and from Pitigliano before the school starts and after it ends is not included.
Deposit
There is no application fee. However, students must pay at least 50% of the above fees within one week of acceptance. Half of this deposit (i.e., 25% of the total fees) is not refundable. The full balance is due by the first day of the field school.
Acceptable Payment Methods
Participants may pay fees with a direct bank transfer or through PayPal. If you are paying the balance due after you arrive at BISA, you must pay in cash (Euros).
Participants must pay all costs and fees for the money transfer.

Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy
If an accepted participant withdraws at least one week before the first day of the field school, fees paid will be refunded minus a non-refundable deposit of 25%.
If a participant withdraws less than one week before the first day of the field school, we will not issue a refund.
