The following information will help you plan your travel to and from “La Biagiola” International School of Archaeology (BISA).

Note: If your bus route indicates that you change buses in Manciano, sometimes this means that the bus number changes, but you must stay on the bus: ask the driver.

Travel Documents and Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for Italy depend on your nationality and personal circumstances. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they hold the travel documents and, where required, visas or other authorizations necessary to enter Italy and the Schengen Area.

Citizens of EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland should travel with a valid passport or national identity card accepted for travel to Italy.

Citizens of non-EU countries must hold a valid passport or other recognized travel document. As a general rule for short stays in the Schengen Area, the travel document must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least three months after the planned date of departure from the Schengen Area.

Depending on nationality and individual circumstances, a visa may be required. Nationals of some countries are exempt from the visa requirement for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

As entry requirements may change, participants should always check the official information provided by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the European Union before traveling.
